Good hotel with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a snack bar. The staff helped me return my lost SIM cards. They genuinely care. I’m coming back for xmas!

Didn't like anything, except hot shower.

Despite my room being clean, it sadly had cockroaches which was a major letdown. Overall, I appreciated the cleanliness of the common areas and good Wi-Fi. I won’t be coming back, though.

Plus, the water pressure in the shower was fantastic, and it heated up in a flash, making for quick cleanup after a long day. What a gem amid the madness!

Now, on the flip side, the vibe here was a total disaster. drug deals and stray dogs galore. The staff was as useful as a broken microwave, and we struggled with only three towels for five people. Not safe, not pleasant—definitely not a revisit.

A significant problem with the room included a lack of proper maid service. clean towels were only provided mid-stay after multiple requests, with limited amenities for a family of four. The room quality was questionable with broken fixtures, dirty surfaces, and pest issues, which made the stay uncomfortable. Additionally, the public areas showed neglect, such as the pool not being available despite its advertisement, leaving a feeling of being misled. Overall cleanliness and upkeep raised concerns regarding health and safety, which overshadowed any redeeming qualities.

Spacious room, clean room with a comfortable bed and a great shower pressure that heated up quickly. The outdoor swimming pool offered a refreshing break after exploring the city.

the room had a bit of a smoke smell (not great), but the water in the shower was always hot! the cleaning staff did a solid job with upkeep, and the air conditioning was reliable on the hot days.

The location of Motel 6 in Merced is convenient, just off the freeway and near some fast food places. The price was right, under $40 with tax included. My room was spacious and included a microwave and fridge, which was a nice bonus. The bed was supportive enough, and I appreciated having a decent water pressure in the shower. Wi-Fi worked most of the time without much trouble. The staff at check-in were friendly and efficient. However, the hallway had an odd smell that lingered, making it less inviting. I had some issues with the thermostat not heating the room properly. even cranking it to 80 degrees couldn’t combat the chilly feel, which made sleeping uncomfortable. While the stay had its perks, the issues with heating could definitely use some attention.

the motel 6 had clean rooms, no funky smells, and a great location near plenty of food options like subway and starbucks. the pool was also well maintained and better than nearby hotels. the staff was helpful, making our stay more enjoyable.

It was just a well-suited match for a fleeting stay in Merced with extraordinarily good value for money. The front desk was quick and helped us find a great place for dinner. If staying here, make sure to ask for extra towels early on.

The room was clean but felt really old and worn out. The beds were super hard, and the bedspreads had stains. The bathroom was okay, though the fan was loud. It was lacking simple amenities like a hair dryer and tissues. Not enough furniture for the size of the room, and it smelled like smoke even though I requested a non-smoking room. It just didn't feel cared for at all.
